Genghis Tron – Dream Weapon
I’ve been revisiting this album a lot lately. I’m not sure if it was the bad timing of releasing during the pandemic with no touring or the fact it’s nothing like their previous albums, but this should have blown up. It’s perfect.

Darkus – Joy
Thank you discogs. I lost this cd 25 years ago and had long since forgotten the title or artist names of anyone on it. But I never forgot this bassline. I think about it a lot.
Darkus is one of over two dozen aliases used by Jeremy Sylvester, who like all other jungle producers in London in the mid 90s, swiftly moved away from dark, moody sounds in favor of making music people actually wanted to hear in a nightclub. Good for him.

Cult of Youth – With Open Arms
I’ve really been digging this record from Cult of Youth. They’ve pretty much completely eschewed social media, so it’s difficult to find info on them. Either way, I really like the track “Outside in Reality”. But the whole album is pretty awesome.
Industrial, neofolk, and new wave vibes. -
