Darkus is one of over two dozen aliases used by Jeremy Sylvester, who like all other jungle producers in London in the mid 90s, swiftly moved away from dark, moody sounds in favor of making music people actually wanted to hear in a nightclub. Good for him.
I’ve really been digging this record from Cult of Youth. They’ve pretty much completely eschewed social media, so it’s difficult to find info on them. Either way, I really like the track “Outside in Reality”. But the whole album is pretty awesome.
